A native of Tomkins Cove, NY, Kathy attended Binghamton University, graduating with a B.S from the Watson School of Engineering. She received her commission in the Navy Supply Corps, retiring after 20 years of service. Kathy also worked as a business consultant, leading naval bases around the world through regionalization efforts.
In addition to her time at the museum, Kathy volunteers as a member of the Diocese of Springfield’s Catholic Committee on Scouting, coordinating educational and religious awards programs, at St. Agnes Academy in Dalton, Mass., as PTO President and as a Key Adult Member of Cub Scout Pack 8. She was a girl scout leader for 15 years and has taught Faith Formation at various parishes for 23 years. Kathy lives in Pittsfield, Mass., with her husband Kevin and their son, age 11. Their other three children are off in the world doing great things.
